52:3:9: Reflecting on Audience-Minneapolis and Buffalo MN Photographer

This week on 52.3 | Artistry we are reflecting on our photography and how we shoot with an audience in mind and at the same time for ourselves. When I shoot a landscape, I am mostly shooting for myself as 1) I often shoot what I love: sunsets and 2) I don't sell landscapes, so I have no real client in mind. I do, however, try to capture an interesting and artistic image. I love the simplicity and layers in this desert sunset. It is often difficult to capture the dynamic range and depict in a photograph what the eye can see, but I feel this photograph looks very much like what I witnessed. It was a beautiful and peaceful evening and I hope you can feel the peace and tranquility.
