Framed 52.2 week 44 we are playing with the rule of thirds. In just about any composition, the rule of thirds will make for a pleasing composition. It is one of the more basic compositional rules, but it works just the same. Imagine forming a grid with 2 vertical and 2 horizontal equally placed lines, or 9 quadrants in the frame. The intersection of these lines, creates an ideal location to place your subject.
My setting sun is on the intersection of the the upper left intersection in the Rule of Thirds. This was taken at our cabin. I never tire of making sunset pictures as the color, water and sky are always so different-at least to my eye.
